In partnership with PhilPop, NCCA, and NHCP, NQC is spearheading a four-leg nationwide bootcamp: two in Luzon and one each in the Visayas and Mindanao. Nine songs from bootcamp entries will comprise the Quincentennial Soundtrack—one of which becomes the theme song of the 2021 QCP, “Bagani,” written and composed by Roel Rostata, launched on 14 December 2019 during the 500-day countdown to 2021 QCP. No less than National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab is the head camp master, joined by OPM singers and song writers.
