Marking of the Thirty-four Sites of the Philippine Route of the Magellan-Elcano expedition
The marking of the thirty-four sites of the Philippine route of the Magellan-Elcano expedition is in solidarity with the international project of tracing the route of the unprecedented achievement of humanity and science which proved that the world was indeed round.
Between 16 March and 28 October 2021, thirty-four historical markers (with reliefs) will be unveiled in the Visayas, Palawan, and Mindanao. Below is the schedule of the unveiling of historical markers:
