The Lapu-Lapu City Government and Council visited the Dambana ng Kagitingan at Mt. Samat, Pilar, Bataan. Lapulapu and the Battle of Mactan are among the reliefs featured on the pedestal of the Dambana ng Kagitingan, dramatizing the unconquered spirit and triumphant heritage of the Filipinos through history. This was part of the 2021 Quincentennial Commemoration in the Philippines Stakeholders’ Luzon Meeting and in promotion of the 500th anniversary of the Victory at Mactan.
