NQC Launches an Interactive Quincentennial Map

In
time for the 2021 Quincentennial Commemorations in the Philippines, the Department of Education, in partnership with the National Historical Commission of the Philippines, made this interactive map of the Philippine part in the first circumnavigation of the world for teachers and students. It can be accessed via National Quincentennial Committee (NQC) website at www.nqc.gov.ph/en/map.

Featured in the map are the thirty-four (34) sites associated with the first circumnavigation, to be installed with historical markers from the NHCP.
